Catholic Centre – Hong Kong was established in 1945 by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong.
It was the first multi-services oriented centre of the Catholic Church in the Central District on Hong Kong Island. It is situated right in the heart of the commercial and banking area of Hong Kong.
The Chapel and the bookstore are frequented by hundreds of visitors everyday.

It is only one minute’s walk from the MTR Central Station and 3 - 7 minutes from the Star Ferry.

We are one of the largest of its kind in this part of the world. We have a large stock and supply of religious books in Chinese and English including Bibles, Scriptural Readings, Sermon and Homilies, Spiritual Readings, Prayer Books, Catechetics, Children and Teenagers Books, and various topics on Catholic Faith.

We are the distributor of books and publications published by the CATHOLIC TRUTH SOCIETY and KUANGCHI PRESS.

We supply goods for liturgical use, Vestments, Chalices, Statues, Cribs and Stations of the Cross for church and chapel uses.

We also supply items of religious nature such as Rosaries, Medals, Ornamental pendants, and Crucifixes as well as gifts and greeting cards for all occasions.

Dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, this small cozy chapel is one of the favourite places visited by hundreds of office workers everyday before and after office hours and during their lunch break.

Regular Masses are offered everyday.

Weekdays :
8:00 a. m. in English (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
8:00 a.m. in Chinese (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday)
5:30 p.m .in English (Monday to Friday)

Anticipated Sunday Mass:
1:15p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday, in English

Sunday Mass:
9: 30 a.m. in English
11:30 a.m. in English

Confession: Before and after mass, and during lunch hours on weekdays.

Closed on Public Holidays and days when No. 8 Typhoon Signal or Black Rain Signal is hoisted.


Catholic Truth Society
Catholic Truth Society (Hong Kong) was founded in 1934 by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong and has become the official publisher of the Diocese ever since. Its main purpose is to publish good reading materials for the faithful in Hong Kong. It also takes care of the need of the Chinese reading faithful of Mainland China as well as the Chinese overseas.

Catholic Truth Society also publishes text books and reference books on religious and moral studies for the students in the Catholic Schools.

The following are some categories of work of the Catholic Truth Society:

1. Annual publications: Hong Kong Catholic Church Directory, Liturgical calendar and diary, text books and reference material on religious and moral studies.
2. Translated work: Books on Spirituality, Faith, Theology and Biblical Study in foreign languages are translated and published for Chinese readers.
3. Publishing work: Pending on availability of appropriate resources, publications in the Chinese and English languages by various authors are also carried out.
