This book centres a Servant of the Lord – Father John Russel S.J. – an Irish Jesuit missionary who spent seventy-two years (from October 1951 to 22nd September 2023) of his priestly life serving more than ten different groups in Hong Kong. 
 
Father Russell served on their board or on the governing committee. Each of those groups contribute one to two chapters to form this book. There is only one group that the Editorial Team regretted of being unable to find the contact person to invite them to share their views on Fr. Russell’s prolonged commitment to the youths.
 
These different chapters are very valuable contributions as the sharing of the various living experiences with Father Russell revealed to us different dimensions of his personality, his thoughts, his wisdom, his visions, his burning desires to bring light, comfort and wholeness to those brothers and sisters in need.
