簡介：
在天主教傳統中，禮儀是教會行動的頂峰，同時也是教會一切力量的泉源。令教友有意識地、主動地、實惠地參與禮儀涉及很多元素，值得探討，當中與禮儀本地化關係密切。各地方教會採用當地文化來表達禮儀慶典，大前題是確保禮儀傳統「一體多元化」，就是忠於宗徒的聖傳，即在宗徒傳下來的信仰和聖事上共融。本期《鼎》的主題是基於中國和香港教會的經驗，探討禮儀改革和本地化。
 
In Catholic tradition, "the liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed; at the same time it is the font from which all her power flows. To ensure that the faithful take part fully aware of what they are doing, actively engaged in the rite, and enriched by its effects, it would be worthy to study the various elements involved, which are closely related to liturgical inculturation, Local Churches introduce elements of local cultures into liturgical celebrations. The thing that is needed to bear in mind is to ensure"oneness in diversity" in liturgical traditions, that is, diversified while remaining faithful to the Apostolic Tradition and in communion with the whole Church in matters of faith and liturgy. The theme of this issue is to study the liturgical reform and inculturation in the Catholic Church basing on the experiences of the Churches in Mainland China and in Hong Kong."
